Paragliding xtvt at Jugra Hill

Wehooooooooo...
"I'm like a bird, I'll only fly away
I don't know where my soul is, I don't know where my home is...lalala"

First of all, PARAGLIDING....Something new in my outdoor dictionary yet always wanna try for the past few years.
It was awesome experience that i'd ever tried. Imagine ye... the wind breezing your face as you gently soar up the blue skies of Bukit Jugra. Time slowly unfolds as you glide, taking in the stunning panorama of lush green flatlands, across the jugra hill and the meandering Langat River below you. Perghh... the most best 20min of my life.. A  Must try xtvt..

Sukan ni kita main dekat Bukit Jugra yg terletak di Ulu Langat, Banting selangor.
Perjalanan from KL to Banting hanya dalam 1 jam j.. Sesape yg nk pegi advisable u ols dtg awal pg.. selain boleh tgk view cantik sambil berdoa semoga keadaan angin dan cuaca mengizinkan.. hehe.. dtg awal boleh juge dpt parking kat atas. Beside, sape yg suke bersenam pagi..boleh park keta kat bawah and  hiking naik sampai atas. X lama.. dlm 10min j boleh sampai dah.

Boleh dikatakan sukan paragliding ni adalah sukan extreme yg paling x bahaya tau. Sebab kita terbang pon dgn pilot..and all the ciri2 keselamatan diambil kira oleh pilot2 terlatih sekalian..kirenye safety first lah. Abg2 tu pon xkan nk fly if for example keadaan angin x cantik on that day. Sape2 yg  teringin nak cuba... do try it. U won't regret bebeh..

Harga untuk sekali fly is RM150..

I can say it's a good investment sbb kat Malaysia ni x ramai lg lincensed paraglider, especially woman. Boleh la fikirkan secara serious xtvt sukan ni ye.. sbb no.1 boleh jadi hobby yg awesome. ( the 1st reason is always a good reason )
Sbb no.2  yg selalu nye ultimate reason.. you boleh gain income from it. Weekend boleh bawak tendem fly. Imagine sekali terbang rm150 per person bermodalkan one off parasuit dan angin yg Tuhan bagi free.. gempak kan?

Me fly high at 1000ft above sea level.. ada bran?

Nak tunggu angin cantik pon amik masa jugak tau. So, don't worry k.. Sementara menunggu angin sesuai utk terbang, kite boleh berselfie, group photo, groupfie.. dan seangkatan nye.. kot2 rasa nk buat video clip bersama suami tercinta pon volleyy...

View kat atas bukit tu pon sangat2 cantik and breathtaking.. jadi kalau nk datang saje2 amik angin ber"picnic" kat atas tu bersama family pon boleh. Boleh dtg amik gamba.. tgk permandangan and support org2 yg nk main paragliding kat situ.. huhu.. jangan lupa bawah sandwich lebih untuk kawan2.. 😛

Lepas semua dah selesai tendom fly.. kami dapat sijil penyertaan. Acara penyampaian sijil kami buat di kedai makan berhampiran. Betul la kata org.. kenyang perut senang hati.. tengok lah muke memasing.. gembira kemain.
It was during the Malaysia Day, so we decided to fly with our national flag. Kibarkannn...
Okey..last but not least, those yg berminat nk cuba xtvt paragliding ni boleh la google paragliding jugra. Cik Lyzz x de contact no pilot yg bawak Cik Lyzz tu sbb we pegi dgn group. And Cik Lyzz n husband tumpang j kat group tu. Hehe..

Sambil memberi support, kita sempatkan diri utk berselfie.. hehehe

Getting ready to fly..

Ok... hope this entry had benefit you. Manalah tau tetiba rasa nk buat something new.
cubalah.. sangat recomended!!

Ok daaa...

Food review at Wangsa Grill, Chef Zubir's Restaurant

Okay.. this is a backdated story post. Hehe..

Sebelum ni hanya dengar tentang Laman Grill di Shah Alam, and since it was too far from us, so xde la terfikir nk pergi sgt. So, when we heard Chef has open a new branch at Wangsa Melawati.. terus Cik Lyzz lompat2 bintang nk gi.. hehe..

We visit that restaurant a few months back during my birthday. Actually we had plan so many times to dine in there tapi selalu ada j benda yg buat ia x jadi.. but at last DD bring me on my birthday as a birthday treat. Yeay love u DD.

As you have known this restaurant is belong to Chef Zubir yang popular dalam prog tv Masterchef tu... Kalau sape2 selalu ikut rancangan Masterchef tu kan.. mesti tau betapa hebat nye Chef2 bertiga tu Chef Zubir, Chef Adu and Chef Jo or Papa Jo. Jadi tak hairan la kan restoran Chef Zubir ni selalu full house. So, sape2 yg nk makan kat sini, better plan and make reservation before come ok.

So on that day we order 3 meals..satu starter and 2 main course. Plan nk order dessert tp da full tank lepas makan main dish yg big portion. Overall we both happy sangat with the food. Semuanya sedap2 belaka.. to our taste la. And the price also raleven.

Lamb foreshank serve with mashed potato and mixed vege

Tu dia haih.. Nampak tak pinggan dia besar dulang. Sado..
As you can see, portion dia mmg besar k.. so sblm datang make sure  u ols laporpo tahap dewa. muahaha... Otherwise, boleh share2 makan dgn partner u ols. Dapat la elak kan pembaziran dan juge boleh berjimat cermat membawa berkat. Huhu

Kalau datang ada harijadi, u ols pon boleh request lagu Birthday Song untuk di surprisekan.. boleh juge order kek kecik comel to compliment the song tu kan. Xkaaannnn nk surprise dgn lagu j kan. Ape barang babe.. :P

Morrocan whole baby chicken..serve with potato salad and cannelloni pasta.
Ok for the price... untuk portion yg besar mcm tu sangat relevan. Mcm the whole baby chicken set tu RM30++ x silap..Lamb shank tu pon RM30++, starter dalam belas2 j kot. Ok kan?

Starter =  Buritto's
So, for us, this restaurant is worth to try..
Food is sedap.. cozy environment.. and price ok.
Cubalah k.. and let me know how u like it....

Till then, bye.

Classic Victoria Sandwich Cake Mary Berry

Salam,

Fuhhh.... fuhhh tiup habuk2 and sawang2 kat blog ni. Kah kah kah..
Ok this is another recipe yg Cik Lyzz nk keep for future reference. Suke sangat kek ni.. Sangat classic.. tasty.. spongy, buttery and for me it brings a taste of nostalgia in every bite of it.

Teringat dulu2 masa tinggal dengan Arwah nenek... kek ni la nenek selalu buat. Tp dulu panggil butter cake j kot.. or maybe we called it kek planta. Hehe.. Arwah nenek dulu guna planta, x pakai butter pon. Kalau time raya Arwah Atok akan beli planta tin besar tu untuk buat biskut and kek.

Lagend tol.. ***Cry   (T T) **

And dulu nenek punya kek sapu dengan jem stoberi atas permukaan dia.. pastu tabur kelapa kering. Sedap tau bila kita rasa lembut dari kek span tu.. pastu rasa masam2 manis dr jem, and lemak2 garing dr kelapa kering tu.. perghhh.. ( Ok rindu all those Arwah's which were closed to my heart. Alfatihah for them.. )

Those who like to check the original recipe.. can view THIS link from BBC- Food.
This recipe is from Mary Berry.. i like it since i found it was the simplest VSC cake ever and turn out well. Hardly to fail. All you need to do is weight all the ingredient in same amount, dump all the ingredient in large bowl and mixed its with your mixer until well incorporated. Do not overmixed and then pour in your baking tin.. and lets the oven do their job for u.. huhu

Mini VSC in cuppy size... I used non stick cupcake pan

Ingredients

  • 4 free-range eggs ( Make sure its A size )
  • 225g/8oz caster sugar, plus a little extra for dusting the finished cake ( Cik Lyzz dusting using icing sugar )
  • 225g/8oz baking spread, margarine or soft butter at room temperature, plus a little extra to grease the tins ( Used the good quality of butter will give more impact to the result. Cik Lyzz used Anchor, it sold at 225g, so it is just ready to be used.. ;) )
To serve

Preparation method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C/350F/Gas 4. ( Cik Lyzz punya oven 160C api atas bawah )
  2. Grease and line 2 x 20cm/8in sandwich tins: use a piece of baking or silicone paper to rub a little baking spread or butter around the inside of the tins until the sides and base are lightly coated. Line the bottom of the tins with a circle of baking or silicone paper (to do this, draw around the base of the tin onto the paper and cut out).
Technique: Greasing and lining cake tins
  3. Break the eggs into a large mixing bowl, then add the sugar, flour, baking powder and baking spread.
  4. Mix everything together until well combined. The easiest way to do this is with an electric hand mixer, but you can use a wooden spoon. Put a damp cloth under your bowl when you’re mixing to stop it moving around. Be careful not to over-mix – as soon as everything is blended you should stop. The finished mixture should be of a soft ‘dropping’ consistency – it should fall off a spoon easily.
  5. Divide the mixture evenly between the tins: this doesn’t need to be exact, but you can weigh the filled tins if you want to check. Use a spatula to remove all of the mixture from the bowl and gently smooth the surface of the cakes.
  6. Place the tins on the middle shelf of the oven and bake for 25 minutes. Don't be tempted to open the door while they're cooking, but after 20 minutes do look through the door to check them.
  7. The cakes are done when they’re golden-brown and coming away from the edge of the tins. Press them gently to check – they should be springy to the touch. Remove them from the oven and set aside to cool in their tins for five minutes. Then run a palette or rounded butter knife around the inside edge of the tin and carefully turn the cakes out onto a cooling rack
  8. To take your cakes out of the tins without leaving a wire rack mark on the top, put the clean tea towel over the tin, put your hand onto the tea towel and turn the tin upside-down. The cake should come out onto your hand and the tea towel – then you can turn it from your hand onto the wire rack.
  9. Set aside to cool completely.
  10. To assemble the cake, place one cake upside down onto a plate and spread it with plenty of jam. If you want to, you can spread over whipped cream too.
  11. Top with the second cake, top-side up. Sprinkle over the caster sugar.

Kalau masterchef..at this point dah boleh angkat ikan tu.. keliling da nampak putih.. middle part color oren..
