Chocolate Chunk Cookies with oats:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It's Joyofbaking.com... hehe..
I suka main2 masak2 ni. Even xde oven...and just using my toaster oven yg cumel tu..I try la buat cookies ni. Sape2 yg amatur macam Cik Lyzz.. sila la melawat dapur cyber Joyofbaking.com tu ek. kat situ ada video cara2 nak buat...dari awal sampai akhir. So, boleh buat sama2 dgn cikgu cyber tu... hehe. ;D
Boring2 duduk rumah sorang2 time DD pegi class, maka jadi la biskut2 ni. Ohh...not to mention, seperti biasa, Cik Lyzz derhaka pada resepi. Sbb guna bahan2 nan ado j di dapur tu. ( nasib baik biskut x merajuk ke.. terkejut ke ape.. heh heh heh )
Ok, Cik Lyzz copy and paste resepi nya kat sini. And ada sikit2 change sbb ikut kesesuaian bahan2 yg ada kat dapur time tu.
Ingredients :
2 1/4 cups (260 grams) all purpose flour ( I used normal flour )
1 1/4 teaspoons baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup (170 grams) unsalted butter, room temperature ( I running out of butter. So I used margerine instead.. heh heh )
2/3 cup (130 grams) granulated white sugar ( I dont have icing or custor sugar. So, i used 1/2 cup of sugar. )
3/4 cup (140 grams) firmly packed light brown sugar ( I put extra brown sugar since i add-in oats in this recipe's. )
1 large egg & 1 large egg yolk ( I used 2 eggs instead )
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla essence
1 1/4 cups (210 grams) chocolate chunks (can use chocolate chips)
1 cup of oat. ( Optional.)
2 teaspoon of nescafe ( Optional. )
Using the mixer. beat the butter and sugars until light and fluffy (about 2 - 3 minutes). Scrape down the sides of the bowl. Add the eggs ( one at a time ), beating until well combined. Then, put in the vanilla.
In another large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, oat and salt.
Gradually add the flour mixture to the creamed mixture and beat just until incorporated. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed. Stir in the chocolate chunks.
Form dough into balls, using 1/4 cup (55 grams) for each cookie. Place six balls of dough on each baking sheet. Gently flatten each ball of dough into a 2 1/2 inch (6.5 cm)  round.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (177 degrees C). Place one oven rack in the top third of the oven, and one oven rack in the bottom third of the oven. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.  Bake the cookies for about 15 - 17 minutes, rotating the baking sheets halfway through the baking time. The cookies are done when they are light golden brown in color and just set. They will still seem a little soft but they will firm up as they cool. Remove from oven and let the cookies cool a few minutes on the baking sheet before transferring them to a wire rack to cool.
Done..!
P/s : Eh blog ni da macam blog resepi pulak yeh. hak hak hak.. Saje letak resepi kat sini for future reference. ;P
